About Stephen

As Marketing Manager, Stephen leads Innovative's companywide marketing strategy, brand initiatives, and growth programs. His focus includes go-to-market strategy, brand development, demand generation, and executive communications—translating complex technology services like managed IT, cybersecurity, compliance, AI enablement, and cloud solutions into messaging that resonates with CEOs, CFOs, and other decision-makers.

Stephen works closely with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and outside agency partners to guide Innovative's brand and go-to-market strategy as the company grows. Rather than treating marketing as a standalone function, he partners closely with sales and strategic accounts on target-account campaigns and builds measurement frameworks that improve accountability and return on investment across every initiative.

Before joining Innovative, Stephen spent over a decade building markets and leading teams across technology, telecommunications, and broadband—including roles at Point Broadband, Shentel/Glo Fiber, and Sprint. Along the way, he's earned a reputation for turning underperforming territories into high-growth markets and building genuine relationships with executive leaders, municipalities, and community organizations.

Outside of Innovative, Stephen is deeply rooted in the Washington County community. He has served on the boards of the Washington County Free Library (including as Board President), the Western Maryland Regional Library, the Maryland State Library Board, and the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, among others. His community work has earned him recognition including Washington County Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year (2024) and Young Professional of the Year (2022).

Stephen is a part-time photographer and videographer, lending his skills to support local families and nonprofits with photo and video work. He's also an avid golfer—if he's not behind a camera, you'll likely find him on a local course two or three times a week.
