All about that Backup

A good BCDR solution (AKA, “Backup” solution) should be in place everywhere essential data lives. That could include traditional on-premises servers, cloud infrastructure like Azure and AWS, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace cloud environments, and individual workstations. We will apply a BCDR solution to applicable areas of your environment.

Proactive Approach

Solutions are only going to be as effective as the people managing them. Managed backups aren’t something you can set and forget, and need regular monitoring, testing, and optimizations to ensure your data is always protected and can be restored quickly.

Our Network Operations Center (NOC) includes a dedicated backup administrator. This role helps ensure good backup performance and quick troubleshooting when something requires attention. Our backup administrator configures and optimizes our BCDR solution so your business gets what it needs quickly and efficiently.

Innovative’s recommended BCDR solution for on premises and cloud infrastructure offers reliable, image-based backups and verification, restoration from any snapshot, and the ability to virtualize from the Datto Cloud, or, if applicable, an on-premises appliance. 

Microsoft 365/Google Workspace BCDR Solution 

Innovative will provide Datto SaaS protection for the Microsoft 365/Google Workspace cloud.  Datto SaaS Protection for Microsoft 365/Google Workspace is an all-in-one backup, search, restore, and export solution for email, OneDrive/Google Drive, SharePoint, and Teams. It is offered as a managed BCDR solution supported by Innovative’s Network Operations Center (NOC).

While SaaS applications like Microsoft 365/Google Workspace have built-in redundancy that protects against data loss in their cloud, this doesn’t protect against user error, accidental and malicious deletion, or ransomware attacks. A proper BCDR strategy can help protect you when the worst case scenario hits.
