Lauren Rappaport
Director of Strategic Accounts & Marketing
About Lauren
Lauren has been part of Innovative since the very beginning - first as the kid tagging along on projects, then as a freelance graphic designer in 2020, and officially as a full-time sales and marketing assistant in 2021. Today she leads both the strategic accounts and marketing teams, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and making sure Innovative's brand reflects the people behind it.
Her favorite part of the role is the blend of strategy and people. She loves helping her teams grow, building systems that give account executives more room to focus on their clients, and finding ways to make the Innovative experience feel thoughtful and consistent. She still has a soft spot for a well-refined process.
Working alongside friends and family she's known since she was young is what makes Innovative special to her. She says the culture is welcoming and inspires real loyalty - and she can't get enough of it.
Outside the office, Lauren is involved with the United Way's Community Impact Committee and the Washington County Arts Council Board.
Something you didn’t know…
Lauren didn't fly on a plane until she was 24, but she's made up for lost time since. She has a studio art degree from American University with concentrations in photography and painting, and she's happiest with a camera in a national park or nature, ideally somewhere dark enough to see the stars. At home, she's usually keeping up with Mack, her English bulldog, and whichever foster pup she currently has. And as a kid, she helped her dad (Innovative CEO Jason) build servers and "assist" him with projects - her earliest IT experience!
“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”
