Meet Our Staff

 
Adam Warner – Systems Technician Adam is a 2010 graduate of Shepherd University with a Bachelor’s degree in Networking and Data Communication. As a new member of the Innovative team, he is A+ Certified and working on his Windows 7 Professional certification. Resolving computer problems gives him a sense of accomplishment. Adam’s hobbies include kayaking, playing the guitar and camping.
Alex V. Samuel – Network Engineer A native of India, Alex is a 2005 graduate of Minnesota State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been with Innovative since 2008, and has Cisco CCNA and Microsoft MCSE certifications. Alex’s favorite computer issues to solve are ones that require reverse engineering, network troubleshooting, and finding ways to simplify repetitive tasks with automation and scripting. When he isn’t solving technical issues, Alex enjoys playing the guitar, drums, and/or bass in church, PC gaming, spending time with his family, and exploring his interest in aviation.
Christopher Kline – Systems Technician A lifelong resident of Hagerstown, Chris joined Innovative in 2010. He graduated from Bellevue University with honors and is a Microsoft Certified Professional for Windows 7 Professional. Whether it is a failed system component or a complicated virus, the ability to quickly restore a system to how it ran when it was new is some of the most enjoyable work for him. Chris also enjoys camping, live music, hiking, playing guitar, and reading.
Jason Rappaport – President/CEO A northern New Jersey native, Jason grew up in Hagerstown and graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1994. After beginning his dynamic career in the emerging information technology industry, he founded Innovative Inc in 2001. He attended Hagerstown Community College and has training from Orange Technologies and several other DC area technical training companies.   His certifications include Comp TIA A+, Novel CNA, Microsoft MCP/MCSE, LifeSize Certified Sales Professional, Cisco CCNA, and most recently an Apple Certified Product Professional.  He enjoys the challenge of keeping Innovative relevant in this constantly changing era of technology. Jason is a member of the Hagerstown Rotary Club, the Greater Hagerstown Committee, and is involved with several area Board of Directors and technology committees. When he isn’t working, he enjoys guitar, piano, listening to live music, weight lifting, running, fishing, and spending time with this wife Nicole and two children.
Jeremiah “Jeremy” Downie – Sales and Marketing Manager Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, Jeremy is a 1996 graduate of Harding University with a Bachelor of Arts degree (with honors) in Kinesiology. He joined Innovative in 2009, and is a Certified Cisco Sales Expert (CSE) and LifeSize Sales Expert. Jeremy competes as an athlete with the Cumberland Valley Athletic Club, a member of USATF, and a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County. He enjoys training and competing in running events, coaching youth and spending quality time with his family.
Jeremy A. Reynolds  – Systems Technician A native of Hagerstown, Jeremy has been part of the Innovative team since 2008 and has Comp TIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional and Apple Certified Technical Coordinator certifications. He graduated from Hancock High School in 2001, and continued his education at Hagerstown Community College. Jeremy loves the diversity of his work, which can range from soldering a motherboard or running cabling to troubleshooting complicated software problems.  When he isn’t solving technical issues, Jeremy enjoys cars, hockey, music, and reading about technology and history.
Marcie Baumbach – Operations Coordinator Since 2010, Marcie has been the Operations Coordinator for Innovative, and keeps the activities of the company running like a well-oiled machine. Marcie’s talents range from sales support and coordination, maintenance renewals, and warranty claims to purchasing – in addition to coordinating and scheduling more than half a dozen technicians and engineers who perform close to 1000 hours of service per month. Marcie enjoys canoeing on the Potomac River with her family, boating and swimming in the rapids.
Nicole Rappaport – Accounting and Human Resources Manager Nicole was born in Hagerstown and graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1995 with honors and emphasis on business and accounting coursework.  She is an avid photographer and her work has even been featured on the cover of a national trade magazine.  Besides keeping finances and human resource issues in order for Innovative, she volunteers as the treasurer for the Home School Association for St. Mary’s Catholic School. Her hobbies include photography, music, reading, working out, and spending time with her family.
Richard W. Hinsley – Network Technician Born in Manassas, Virginia, Richard has been a member of the Innovative team since 2010.  He is a LifeSize Certified Technical Professional.  Richard is on track to become a Cisco Certified Network Associate, and has already passed one of the exams required for his CCNA Certification.  Richard enjoys troubleshooting network issues and hardware diagnostics, and brings over 10 years of wiring, security, and telecommunications experience to Innovative. He enjoys a good workout, mountain biking, climbing, playing live music, technology, and his family.
Ryan M. Boyer – Senior Network Engineer Born in Winchester, Virginia, Ryan is a 2006 graduate of Hagerstown Business College (now Kaplan University) with an Associates degree in Network Systems Technology. Ryan joined Innovative in 2006, and has since earned many certifications ranging from Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) to Microsoft Certified IT Professional and Allworx Certified Professional.  Ryan’s favorite computer problems to solve include Line of Business Application migrations, involving SQL or other database structures to provide client support between transitions, upgrades and migrations. Additionally, he enjoys actively studying for new certifications and online gaming.
Tyler Snyder – Senior Network Engineer/Technical Operations Manager Tyler graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science from Frostburg State University in 2005. He joined Innovative in 2005, and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Cisco Certified Network Associate. Tyler enjoys the challenge of integrating complex VOIP and server solutions for our customers. He is also proficient in VMWare virtualization solutions. Tyler has been a distance runner for almost 15 years and loves putting in the miles! He is an active member of the Worship team at his church, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
